TLDR; Steve is a creative boy.
Or, at least, that’s what my mom says.
And she was right—I spent a lot of my youth teaching myself HTML on Angelfire, code-breaking MySpace, creating Flash videos and living on 4Chan. Eventually I graduated from Humber’s Advertising & Graphic Design and joined the glorious world of advertising.
Skip ahead 20 years and I’ve been fortunate to have many opportunities to learn and grow with smaller agencies as they expanded, helping build new standards of success and creating avenues for creative exploration.
A few skills i’ve employed in that time—art direction, editing & post-production, logo and identity branding, package design, on-set directing, set design, experiential marketing, web design, museum curation, web design & e-commerce, and all angles of social media marketing.
Being online perpetually lent itself to a solid social media expertise—I’ve helped launch multiple brands into the online social space and have excelled at growing campaigns beyond their traditional media plans.


At INNOCEAN Canada I’ve spent the last 3 years with my copywriting partner helping Hyundai Canada and Genesis Canada push forward as emerging leaders in their markets. With major platform launches such as “WE MAKE WAH”, and the partnership of Hyundai and the NHL, we’ve elevated creative outputs and proven it with record-breaking sales. We had successfully launched Hyundai Canada on TikTok and executed strategy recognized as a leader in the automotive social media space.
In the last month, we shot, produced and aired two additional 15-second spots for Hyundai featuring the NHL Mascots. These, along with the two we shot and produced in October last year are an extension to Hyundai Canada’s successful “Made For Those Who Drive Hockey” platform and NHL partnership, which included a social media counterpart.
As a creative, I offer fresh perspective, driving enthusiasm and a whole lot of, “Hey, did you guys hear about…?” As a leader, I strive to encourage teamwork, growth and pushing boundaries. I’m always looking for opportunities to be smart and fun (ideally at the same time!) while approaching projects with dedication and efficiency.
